Los Angeles, CA – Yung Berg, also known as Hitmaka, was accused pistol-whipping a woman he was dating earlier this week.
But according to a recent Instagram post, the current Vice President A&R at Atlantic Records (real name Christian Ward) insists the alleged victim was never his girlfriend and says he was the unfortunate recipient a “calculated attack.”
Hitmaka delivered a statement through his attorney Shepard S. Kopp, which explained, “Talia Tilley came to Mr. Ward’s house around 3:40 a.m. Although she had been to Mr. Ward’s house before, and was familiar with the layout the house, she is not now, and never has been his girlfriend, as has been falsely reported in some media stories.
“Even though it was late and approximately 50 degrees outside, Ms. Tilley strangely suggested they get in the hot tub. Mr. Ward declined her request. After some physical intimacy, Ms. Tilley made a calculated, unprovoked attack on Mr. Ward, slapping and punching him repeatedly. Mr. Ward defended himself against the attack.”
The statement goes on to accuse Tilley setting up the former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood personality.
“In the middle the assault by Ms. Tilley, the security alarm for the back door Mr. Ward’s house went f,” it continued. “The ADT security company has records the alarm, and the home security company Ring captured video footage two armed assailants jumping the fence into Mr. Ward’s backyard, while a third man acted as a lookout. The robbers were unable to get into the house because the back door was secured by a heavy chain with a lock.”
One the robbers allegedly ran around to the front door and tried to kick it open but was unsuccessful. Hitmaka was somehow able to access Tilley’s phone and discovered she’d been “communicating with and sharing her location with an unknown person” who was “calling and texting her before, during and after” the attempted home invasion.
At the end the statement, Kopp said his client has provided all the information to the Los Angeles Police Department in an effort to catch the suspects.
Tilley went to the hospital following the alleged incident where she was diagnosed with a “closed head injury, closed fracture nasal bone, and facial lacerations.” She allegedly received “several stitches” and the hospital records state the injuries came from an “assault.”
