Up next, the mysterious RMR has made a serious social media indent with his debut single ‘Rascal,’ which has amassed 15,000 views on YouTube with nearly new 1,000 subscribers within its first 24 hours existence.
His Instagram, in all its three-post glory, is also booming.
The song samples country legends Rascal Flatts’ Hannah Montana hit “Bless The Broken Road” but amongst the audio tumbleweed twang, the video (directed by ) employs some seriously exaggerated rapper imagery, complete with Saint Laurent bulletpro vests, designer balaclavas and yes, several semi-automatic weapons.
Speaking to implurnt, the country trapper (who’s back and forth between Atlanta and Los Angeles) says the eye-popping visual
“When I put together this video, I wanted you to listen to it with your eyes open because real music has no boundaries,” RMR tells DX about his self-directed video.
