After a run-in with Page Six, Ja Rule revealed that he will not be sharing the stage with longtime collaborator and friend Jennifer Lopez, despite sharing multiple hits with the . The rapper spoke shortly to the media outlet saying:
“Everyone’s asking me (if I’m performing)… Everyone’s thinking it is gonna be a surprise, but it’ll be a surprise to me as well.”
Despite sharing two chart-topping, multi-platinum singles in “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny (Murder Remix),” the 43-year-old emcee has not received a call from the NFL or J. Lo herself, and with the halftime show set to begin in less than 48 hours, there’s a good chance Ja Rule is honest in his assessment that he will not be performing in front of millions of viewers during Super Bowl LIV.
