Phoenix death-sludgesters Thra, who are touring with Conan in May, have announced their new album Forged In Chaotic Spew, due July 28 via Translation Loss. Hear the brutal lead single “Drag” now.

THANTIFAXATH – “SOLAR WITCH”
Toronto’s subgenre-defying extreme metallers Thantifaxath have announced Hive Mind Narcosis, their second-ever full-length, first since 2014. SPY – “BIG MAN”

THE MON (UFOMAMMUT) – “CONFESSION” (ft. NEUROSIS’ STEVE VON TILL)

FROZEN SOUL – “GLACIAL DOMINATION” (ft. MATTHEW K. HEAFY OF TRIVIUM)
Come for the sci-fi/horror movie synths, stay for some of the best modern death metal on the title track of Frozen Soul’s upcoming LP Glacial Domination. This track features guest vocals by Trivium’s Matt Heafy, who also co-produced the album. Get the LP on limited magenta & black marble vinyl.

Canadian metallic, melodic hardcore band Stasis will release their new LP Six Shades of Red on July 9 via No Sleep. First single “The Love We Let Die” is out now.

RUN INTO THE SUN – “TRY” / “HOPE”
Salt Lake City hardcore band Run Into The Sun follow up their great “Cry” / “Blood” double single from December with another bouncy, catchy, hard-hitting double single, “Try” / “Hope.” “Try” features Billy French of Cherem (which RITS vocalist Dan Fletcher used to play in) and “Hope” features Charles Palleta of Snake Eyez.

Michigan crossover thrash-y, metallic hardcore band Big Deal has unleashed the bone-crushing track “Upper Hand.”

Noisy Denver hardcore band Sanitizers have dropped this new self-titled EP via Convulse, who’s been on an absolute roll this year (with MSPAINT, Gel, Gumm, and more), and this new EP is no exception.
